The
Irish News of the World Score Angels
The
Irish News of the World Score Angels are a stunning
team of 16 Irish Ladies that represent the Irish News
of The World at various sporting, music and promotional
events around Ireland and its members consist of professional
dancers and models. The
girls hold the contract to perform at half time for
the Eircom League matches nationwide and in 2008 performed
at the Podge and Rodge Live stage show in Vicar Street.
The
girls have made many media, TV and Radio appearances,
most recently on 98fm’s morning crew, TV3’s
Ireland AM and RTE’s Podge and Rodge show.The
Score Angels sexy lingerie 2008 Calendar, sponsored
by La Senza, was released in December 2007 and went
out Free in the Irish News of the World and the 2009
Calendar in association with Ultimo Lingerie was free
in the paper in Jan 2009.
Performing
Dancing and looking fabulous is not enough to keep these
girls busy and active. On Saturday the 12th April 2008
the girls took a plunge from an aircraft at 10,000, SKYDIVING
for their chosen charity Fighting Blindness, where they
raised a sensational €10,000 for the charity. For
this event, the girls fundraised on Grafton Street in
Dublin, appeared on TV promoting the event and the savvy
ladies threw a spectacular Valentines Night Fundraiser
in association with Afterdark.ie where they raised €1250.00
from the brilliant crowd of 300 revelers that came down
on the night to support the girls.
Last
summer the girls fronted the massive Kick it and Win campaign
with the Irish News of the World and the Football Association
of Ireland as well as appearing at matches, the Galway
Races and all the major Music Festivals this country has
to offer.
The
girls appear weekly in the Irish News of the World so
keep your eyes open as these ladies are a sight not to
be missed! They kick off the 2009 Eircom League season
on the 13th March at Dalymount Park for Bohemians first
home game and this years charity event is a Fabulous Fashion
Show in association with Bohemians FC for a Children’s
Hospital – News of this to be announced soon.
